A Good Ol' Fashioned Catfight

Wow, this is gettin' good. As I write this now, Redneck Diva and April Winchell are tied at first place. Diva's letting everyone know at her blog, like most of the others, while I think April is getting support over at KABC in L.A.. So, just to make it fair for everyone, I'm keeping the poll up until Monday so everyone has a shot. Plus it'll give me a break as I have a major weekend going on here. I've got two major radio shows going on WEAS, plus this is the weekend for Jamfest, which was postponed from last month due to rain, but is going on Saturday. Singer Toni Braxton will be there and I'll be bringing her out, hopefully. This is going to be as dream come true, I can promise you. I have a good feeling this nis really gonna turn out to be a good weekend all around. I'll see ya after the show, gang!

Dang...

I knew I would get one in late....

Moos just shot me an email saying, "Please don't tell me it's late because you have to see her site!"
http://www.cow-dog.net/

I feel kinda bad about this, but I knew it would happen. Like I said, there are thousands of female bloggers out there and I knew I wouldn't get them all. However, there's always a next time and I hope that we can do this again soon. And yes Karen, I went to the site. You knew that a Bruce Timm drawn Wonder Woman would hook me and it did. Hopefully next time, we'll have more women for the next time and she and I pray, more bloggers will be there. Thanks!

Time To Vote

Okay, we're gonna do this now, as I just found out that I have an emergancy DJ gig to do tonight. Here is the poll machine for The Miss RSJS Beauty Pagent! It's down below, just to the right. Now I guess you can vote as often as you can for your favorite person, but remember, this is only for the TOP FIVE. Next week, we'll see who they are and that winner will become Miss RSJS. So, tell your freinds, tell your neighbors, tell everybody, because the voting begins NOW!

Don't forget...You can vote at the other site as well. Have fun, everybody!

Did We Miss Anyone?

Alright, this should be everyone we can geet in before the semi-final voting tomorrow, You'll be able to see how the voting goes at the home site Out of all of them, we'll only pick FIVE and five only and next week, they'll square off duing the final round. None of that Seacrest crap. When we pick 'em, you'll see it. Here we go...

Now, with all of the comic blogs I have linked here, you would have thought that one of those guys would have nominated Heidi MacDonald here. Yes, sad but true...we comic fanboys want women to be around them, but we don't know how to do anything when it comes to them. I could go on about women's anatomy in funnybooks, but not now. Anyway, Heidi's been one of comic's biggest supporters and has been the field for years and has her own comic site, The Beat .

Another person who's name wasn't sent in was Babs of The Conversation Station. She's a wife and mother who homeschools her two boys. According to her,"Some have called me stubborn; I prefer strong willed. I strive for competency without the fear of change, and I enjoy sarcastic humor. Classic literature and classic movies can't be beat. You can never go wrong with chocolate. Shrimp and steak are my favorite dinners. I only consume vegetables on occasion for nutritional purposes." If she were posting this, she might end it like this...
"HOW COME NOBODY NOMINATED HER FOR THIS CRAZY THING?!

I think that's it. I know that there's alot of female bloggers out there, but these a few just a choice few of the many diverse women bloggers out there. I never meant this to be a joke, but I wanted to honor all the bloggers involved who have the courage to write about their lives and the world around them. I didn't want to ridicule them or be a sexist pig about this. I just want to say thank you to all of them out there for the great things that they do, in and outside of the web. With that done, now it's up to you. Tomorrow night, we start the voting. It's up to you now to tell us who are the top five of the field. Once again, I gotta thank you guys for letting me get away with this.

Here's More Nominees!

I'm just getting in from dialisys. I actually had an early
day. I feel like I'm back in sixth grade again and getting a half day. So, I'm taking advantage and putting up more nominees. Here we go again...

Here's Laura of The Artful Blogger. She's married with three kids, police officer and an artist. Very cool. Support your local police.

Here's Paige, who calles herself ThatWickedWench. It's also the name of her blog. She says, "I love your idea, so I'm gonna be really forward and vain and nominate myself! My blog is http://thewenchsbrothel.blogspot.com/ and I have just recently gone from a 'normal' blog to posting erotica for the most part.. I also have a short story blog and one where I am working on a 'memoir' of sorts. I live in Georgia, am newly single, and spend a lot of the time when I'm not out being all wild just staying at home with my dog, Zoe." Needless to say, this site isn't safe for work, kids or anyone who hates sex. I checked it out...Trust me. She's a very sexual woman.

Now, here's a nominee nominating a nominee! Kristin, our Redneck Diva says this: "Okay, okay, I can't stand it any longer: I'm nominating my dearest friend and blog-sister, Moos! By golly, if I'm gonna be in this with 47 bazillion other women, then Karen needs to share the excitement with me! Karen is the sweetest most precious gal I know and I can't wait to run off to the Big Sky to see her one of these days! Besides, she shares my love of baby copperheads and other farm critters!"

By the way, that isn't her. That's actually Sally Rand up there. That is one lucky horse. Karen's site is called Karbon Kounty Moos.

Here's another one we got in comments at the RSJS. "Found you over on Gina's Spot and so I'd like to introduce myself to the fold. Pammie here blogging under the guise of Plicious! Saucy, Sassy, full of ramblings and musing for the masses!" She lives in Decatur, Georgia, is a single mother (here she is with her daughter, Mini-Me), and her site's named "ThE EmAnCiPaTiOn oF pAmMiE" (her spelling). I actually found a picture of just her leg in a pump, but I thought this was better.

Looking at all the photos and the blogs, it shows me that women are diverse. I mean, look at it...Police, students, sectriaries, voice over artists, graphic designers, stay at home moms, work all day moms, single moms, married moms. But, they're all women and that's why were here celebrating them. Let 'em know how you feel by checking them out at their blogs and letting us know by dropping us an email at samjohnson@gmail.com . Remember, we'll can always use more nominees!
